The Integration of Afghanistan and Pakistan?
Posted, Tuesday,
September 8, 2009 2:52 am The only way to solve the problem of
chronic instability in Afghanistan and in Pakistan is the union of
Afghanistan and Pakistan, based on the principles of democracy, with
representatives of all sections of society and regions represented in the
government and with no one being dominant. Advantages to the world: • Control of Terrorism; • Control of Extremism; • Stabilization of the entire
Region; • Solution to Economic Problems. Advantages to Pakistan: • With an unification with
Afghanistan, some areas which are now part of Pakistan will be stabilized,
and the migration of people from disturbed areas will be stopped; • Law and order problems
resulting from the smuggling of weapons from Afghanistan will come to an end; • Similarly, the illicit drug
trade will be minimized; • Entire areas of
Pukhtoons-speaking population will become unified and that will be helpful
for the development of the culture and the language of that group which is
now divided between two nations; • Security measures and expenses
on borders will be minimized which may be used to increase the welfare of the
people; • Interference of other nations
in this region will be stopped; • For historical and
geographical reasons and for the fact that the Buddhist and Hindu religions
are present in that part of the world, the tourist industry will flourish and
business activity in the region will increase. Advantages to Afghanistan: • With unification, Afghanistan
will loose its position as a land-lock country, and the union would increase
the freedom of the people of Afghanistan to travel and to engage in economic
activity; • Extremism and terrorism will
come to an end, as the people will become more engaged and involved in
adjusting themselves in the new union. This will increase the use of raw
products of Afghanistan; • Security and military expenses
will be minimized; • The union would create job
opportunies in Pakistan for the people of Afghanistan, and the wish for
unification by the people of Afghanistan with the people of Pakistan will be
fulfilled; • The shortage of food products
in Afghanistan will decrease and the union would increase the utilization of
raw products of Afghanistan in the region; • The development of the whole
region would benefit with enhanced linkages in central Asia via Afghanistan; From all the above reasons, it is
clear that unification of Pakistan and Afghanistan could be beneficial to
everybody and for world at large. Akram New

4, 2009 10:03 pm Good article overall! My view is
that this so called "war" (more like an invasion) is about securing
the pipe line corridor through Afganistan-9/11 was just selling point to
public in shock! The whole war on terror is just a tool to keep the
population at large in this patriotic/our freedom/liberation of Afgan people
etc. mind set!! (mind control) The whole 9/11 scenario
considering these facts was an inside job Israel? US Co op. Just look at who
profited most!! Too bad Canadians got involved & are loosing their
lives for no logical/rational reason. To attack a country half the world away
which did not threaten anybody-ravaged by 10 years of Russian occupation-very
poor-living in the past etc. is
not heroism!!!! It is terrorism, in the full meaning of the word! This goes
for the destruction of IRAQ at the Israelis' request also!! In today's world,
the greatest terrorists come from the Israel / US alliance. As you mentioned,
the U.N. role in this is realy minimal. The U.N. has no power to speak of.
Look at the situation in Palestine and at the Iran sanctions. Israel has
stockpiles of illegal nuclear weapons but the U.N. keeps quiet! All the
resolutions against Israel have been and are vetoed by the U.S. So, there may
as well be no U.N.!! Anyway, thank you for your good writings. Luis ______________ Answer by R. T.: I should have added in my
article that another reason why Afghanistan is being occupied militarily by
the U.S. and by NATO countries is to squeeze Iran between Afghanistan and
Iraq. Indeed, the pro-Israel neocons in the Obama administration are busy
preparing the ground for a war against Iran. I should have stressed this fact
better in my article. That was better explained in my book “The
New American Empire”.
Such
are the so-called unmentionable goals of this war. The primary goals in
Afghanistan are the same as in Iraq: Secure the Middle East for Israel and
keep the oil flowing. Bush Jr.- Obama: same goals. As for the U.S. Congress, it
meets often in Israel proper (look at all the Democratic and Republican
delegations that went to Israel this summer!) Nouveau
Juan New
Spot On.
Posted, Thursday,
September 3, 2009 5:11 am Mr. Tremblay’s article is spot
on. Another Vietnam, indeed, everlasting, undeclared and, I would say,
illegal. There is a photo
of one of the survivors of the NATO bombing of two fuel tankers. His pain and
distress are evident. This slaughter of more than 90 people by incineration
was referred to by the BBC on
Radio 4 Today as ’some civilians were killed’. There has been
absolutely no mention of the number and scale of injuries. This is another
example of their usual airbrushing of the horror of war.... A new
opinion poll has found that opposition to
UK’s involvement in the Afghan war has increased as the British
fatalities crossed the 200 mark. A recent
survey conducted by YouGov for the Sky News revealed on Monday, that public
calls for an end to Britain’s Afghan mission has strengthened, with 57
percent of respondents saying Britain should not be fighting in the war-torn
country. An earlier poll conducted by The Independent revealed that 52 per cent
of British people believed that the war in Afghanistan is unwinnable and
British troops should be pulled out immediately. New

Read Orwell's 1984.

September 3, 2009 2:58 pm Read 1984.—Orwell's premonition on the Zionist
mindlock—war is waged for both the carnage and the de-industrialization
of communities. Obama is a puppet [as are all US presidents after the Kennedy
murder]—he is a dead-man-walking—either as a sacrifice or should
he "wake-up" and go off-script: There is no other analysis
required—the paradigms you speak of—wealth enhancement, etc. are
passé. We [global] are approaching a period of totalitarian controls
[mandatory vaccination, etc.] if there is not enough citizen resistance,
activation and-ultimately—manifestation. Gary New
A Positioning for a major war against Iran.
Posted, Wednesday,
September 2, 2009 11:05 am Thanks for the article about Afghanistan war. It is
excellent. In addition to the hypotheses that are formulated on the possible
reasons for maintaining and expanding this hopeless adventure, I would not
exclude the possibility that it may be a part of positioning for the major
war (if not global) against Iran. The geographical location of Iran between
Iraq (military bases are still ready there) and Afganistan (new military
bases) may suggest such a disastrous option. I hope to be wrong. Karol New
