I am a young European. Just a
few minutes ago, I read your article in the world wide web.
Unfortunately, we will not be
able to change anything what these "eggheads" will decide. Recently,
I saw a lecture about the UN and their administration and mechanisms and the
attitude from Kofi Annan during the war in Ruanda. These are gangsters and they
will always be but not the normal people who struggle life day by day.
Don't we live every day in
danger when we're going to work by car for example? I also know very well where
we are going to. Have you ever read "The decline of the West" from
Oswald Spengler. He already saw it more then 80 years ago what is happening in
the world.
And the US are the next even
if they are convinced to be the big policeman in this world. But they are the
aggressors and always leave an "anaconda of destruction" behind
themselves where they have been. Physically, emotionally, socially and so on
and so on.
Isn't it funny I found your
article by learning more about the writer Graham Greene. I read his book
"The silent American". It is such a modern description of the
behaviour of Americains in NATO, in politics, in the economy, in banks,
whereever. They are doubletounged.
But, things could be worse,
couldn't they? :-So, do not give up. I am trying to see things in the biggest
context as possible. (Even dinosaurs do not exist anymore.
I hope you enjoyed the silent
optimism in my words and a feedback to your article.

Pourriez-vous
commenter, expliquer et critiquer cette affirmation de John Stuart Mill : "Est
économiste celui qui n'est pas qu'économiste".

May be you know already, but I
thought worthwhile writing you about an article that appeared on "IL SOLE
24ORE" of May 5th (2009) about this Canadian company (producer of
banconotes for most of the Central Banks) named Fortress Paper. The sense of
the whole article (which praises the company for its profits) is that they are
going to increase the production of banconotes from 3,000 tons of 2008 to
10,000 tons.
Why they dont tell, but it
doesn't take a genius to figure out what is going to happen: the world's
central banks will need more printed money...or not?
I just thought you might be
interested.
With this occasion, I shall
like to thank you for keeping me posted with your superb, insightful articles.
