Probably
the best article I have read and your insights are impressive.
Unfortunately
your observations and predictions are accurate. I just hope the world can
survive this unfortunate period.... The action of this one nut case could
seriously effect the future of our planet.
I just
hope this madness can be stopped. The damage to our species and the planet are
could very well be beyond repair.... The warmongering has is now been directed
at the country of Iran and the very same shallow argument is being used to
initiate a possible nuclear strike.
Just the
possibility of that insane act sends shivers throughout the civilized world.
I welcome
the opportunity to share my insights and views from the vantage point of
"The Front" here in the United States.

A very
nice nice article. Between you and William Blum, I feel my thoughts are often
being echoed.
Please do
not neglect the Arms Industry. They must be ecstatic at the profitable
prospects of continuous war.
When you
say the American taxpayer is unhappy, one wonders if they are even aware of the
problem. There certainly seems to be little reaction. Comfortably numbed by the
media perhaps.

I started
reading your blog today for the first time, because I picked it up on a link, and
had no idea you were around. The quality of your writing is excellent, and and
can see you have done all your homework....
During
the initial Iraq War, I linked into a Russian site in English with an Institute
of retired Russian Generals who floated a stationary satellite over Iraq. They
were watching the entire war scene and intercepted all American communications.
The war on TV was not what was happening at all, and believe that a General
Leonoid Ivashov was part of this scenerio.
The IMF
has just announced that the Central Banks in the world will no longer be
manipulating the price of Gold. This might be good for all those who have
stocks and bullion deposits of Gold and Silver. Nevertheless, the USA is
technically bankrupt with unfunded liabilities of about $70 trillion, and the
USD will have to devaluate another 35 percent.

Answer from R. T.
Western central banks
have been selling gold for the last 25 years. But now, China and some oil
producing countries have been purchasing gold and have reduced the share of
dollars in their official reserves.
When the next
geopolitical crisis hits, gold will quickly go to its resistance at $ 850 oz.,
but should rapidly overcome it and go much higher.
I wrote an article
last fall about the US dollar. See:
