"We went to Iraq thinking we would find weapons of mass destruction. We
did not find any. We were misinformed. ....."

evidence is there that the Bushorcs actually believed their own propaganda?

Of course
they (the Neocons + Bush + Cheney + Wolfowitz) did not believe a word of their
own propaganda.
On Nov.
1st (2006), Bush told Rush Limbaugh that the reason he launched a war of aggression in the Middle East:was
for oil and Israel. He said: (if we leave) "extremists [may] be in a position to use oil
as a tool to blackmail the West... and they will do so unless we abandon Israel ". In my book 'The New American Empire', these were precisely the two main reasons I
gave for the U.S. invading Iraq.
